I spent the past weekend up North in my hometown of Boston, Massachusetts. If you have never been, you should definitely plan a trip, it’s a great city to visit. My husband and I are planning a big move up to Boston in the early fall and have been on the hunt for apartments. In between walking the city in search of a new home, and meeting with realtors, we snuck in a little fun and spent a night in the North End. The North End is considered the Italian section of the city. There are cobblestone streets (hence my block heels which are much easier to walk in than most), old gas lanterns lining the sidewalks, and Italian restaurants up and down every block. Aside from the delicious food and pastries, The North End happens to be very historic, and is worth a visit if you ever find yourself in the area.
My H&M linen black dress was just the thing to feel dressed for dinner but still beat the heat. The light material helped me stay comfortable in the muggy weather. I paired the dress with my leopard print block heels, “ciao” clutch, and a fun bow in my hair to tie the whole look together. Why not?! After all, we were enjoying some Italian culture and indulging in il dolce far niente (or, the sweetness of doing nothing).
